I made an appointment to get my haircut, because I have gone to Visual Effects before and have liked my experience. I made an appointment with someone different, her name is Micah McCowan. I chose her because I thought her price was reasonable of advertising $40.00, for a cut and blow dry. After she was done, I got charged $60.00. I brought the price to her attention and she told me she charged more because my hair was thick, coarse and curly. She shouldn't advertise for a certain price and then change it. I think she needs to be upfront if she plans on charging more than $40.00, because of certain hair type. What is this, discrimination on hair types? I won't be going back and they lost a customer.
