Atmosphere is kinda cool but the food is trash. If Indian food was made to serve in a hospital, this would be it. Small portions with no authentic Indian flavors.

Service was good, nice dim and quiet atmosphere. Food was SO salty my friend and I couldn’t eat more than a couple bites of anything. We both love salty foods but this was more than even we could handle. Really disappointing because the presentation was great.

2020 update: So much has changed and not in a bad way. Outside area is the same but the inside is completely redone. The actual bar is the same but everything else is different. Still a great spot to get a good drink. Kitchen still good as well. *Original post: The Whip In is original Austin, before it was cool. This bar/beer store/restaurant is always a good option. No matter what your taste in beer there is something for everyone. The inside seating usually has live music but there's plenty of room on the back porch as well
