This is not a place for an overnighter. Basically these are seasonal permanent residents who have already chosen the few ideal sites. None of them are level. Many are a tremendous challenge to get your rig situated. I ruined a jack on my 24' TT after trying 4 different sites. Several of them face the wrong way so you're entry is facing the hillside instead of the lake. None of them have sewer. There is a dump station, but good luck getting your rig to it. There is no light in the restroom/shower area, which is apparently closed all winter anyway. There is no laundry facility. The roads are very steep, rough and difficult. It is common practice to just allow the gray water tanks to drain at your site. This would be somewhat acceptable if they were concrete pads and a hose was used to direct the drainage to a grass filter area, however since it drains right on the crushed granite, the place is crawling with ants so you will be fighting that all over the inside of your RV. It's a beautiful property but it's 50 years past being updated.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE SO THAT OTHER CAMPERS WILL SEE — Now that the cat is out of the bag, I thought I’d share my experience. We will be moving out tomorrow from Possum Creek Campground. We have spent a little over a half a year in our spot, but I’m our short time, let me share with you the experience: We moved in first of April. After moving in, we found on two occasions a needle and syringe. We reported it to the management and it was going to be “handled”. Then everything came unraveled. I have told management on numerous accounts that there were drugs being done and/or dealt at various campsites, specific campers on specific drugs causing issue, and a group of us has reported twice finding paraphernalia and thrice activity involving addicts and/or dealers. There are pictures of the paraphernalia and the LARGE amount of heroine found. I have had liquor stolen from an outdoor storage unit that was closed and secure, and another neighbor had prescription drugs stolen TWICE. I have video footage/ messages with dates and time stamps of pot being smoked in the open at breakfast time when kids are our playing, a neighbor walking around in underwear in the midst of the day like a sicko, neighbors having a domestic dispute in the campground with children around, actual threats being made with weapons involved (more than once), proof of guns being used as a scare tactic to ya and other campers, and conversations with the management and owners. We kept reporting in hopes to see things change, but it was never the case. Management doesn’t care and ownership is even worse. It’s excuse after excuse, lie after lie, and the bended truth every time... unless your a camper on dope and then they seem to show you some favor. Nothing has been done. Heroine is still there. Drugs are still there. Violence is still there. TROUBLE IS STILL THERE. Tomorrow we will be pulling our camper out of where we called home for the last 6 months. We have endured a lot and tried to make it a better place than when we arrived. We have cleaned around us (trash, glass in the gravel, etc), had cookouts amongst neighbors, and shared our child with everyone that loves him. I’m sharing in hopes that my friends see how bad it is and stay clear. I’ve tried (brought in 7 total campers- 5 long term) and exhausted all options. I will never claim to be right or innocent in anything I do, but if drinking some beer is condemnable, surely these other acts are too.

Unfortunately sir, I do not have any spaces for a camper that size. Projecting middle to end of July before we will.

When will the light be fixed over the boat ramp? I payed the season parking. im on the lake alot and that light has been out over 4 months. Ive called camp ground and tva and still nothing. Its hard getting in and out at dock in total darkness

The management has contacted EPB numerous times about the light over the ramp. Approximately 5 months ago, we signed the approval for EPB to come in and replace the old, outdated lights with newer, brighter LED lights. As of date, they have failed to replace the lights that we're requested. We are trying to get this matter resolved as quickly as possible. Thank you.
