We had a great time here. Lots of fun activities for kids. Really good place for a fall day out. We took our little girls there for my birthday and it was the best birthday I think I've ever had. It's how we celebrate my birthday every year now.

Wow; this place rocks! Reasonable entry price, large healthy pumpkins still on the vine, and lots of things for kids to do. Definitely a cute and worthwhile trip. They have been open for 16 years and add new things each year; definitely a place that should be part of your fall tradition. Kids: My three year old nephew loved the slides and goats. They also have a combine kids can sit in, a tractor to sit on, and a sandbox that is corn instead of sand. You can tell a lot of kids enjoyed the unique sensation of jumping in a pile of corn. Lots of hay bales and games like corn hole, ladder golf, and corn crib basketball. I appreciated that they had Chickens clucking about, goats to feed, and plastic bull heads to rope. They made a little swing that was a horse and a can was a bull to ride on. Pumpkins: I was incredious when the guy told me how many pumpkins they sold as there are so many large orange pumpkins left. Unlike other patches which sold out in September or were full of moldy gross pumpkins, this one has thousands left on the vine. They have gourds, small colored pumpkins, squash, and pumpkins for pies. You can ride on a trailer pulled by a tractor to go out to the field. They wait for the people to return with pumpkins they picked from the vine then they drive you back to the main area. Food: While I was sad they didn't have whole pies, apple/pumpkin donuts, or other bakery goodies to take home, they did have a nice little cafe with prices that were not blown out of control. Furthermore, they do sell apple juice and slices of pie at the cafe. Instead, I bought a pumpkin and will make my own pie. Bottom line: While this is not the disneyland of patches like Valas, this has a homey feel with enough things to do at a great price. It wasn't too crowded so I feel that we had the ability to do everything we wanted while social distancing.

I found this place after a coworker recommended a couple years ago for their pumpkin patch and it has become a family tradition where we can count on the small town feel and experience but not have to drive too far to get it. Pumpkin prices are reasonable and they offer a little cafe to get a bite to eat before we leave. I would highly recommend especially if you have small children and don’t want to go to a highly commercialized pumpkin patch.

My husband and mine’s first date was going to a pumpkin patch in Iowa since 2010. We’ve carried the tradition on every year since to go to the pumpkin patch together, and now, with our dog, we search far and wide to find pumpkin patches that allows dogs. Thank you so much for your hospitality. My husband, dog and I had such an amazing time. Consider us loyal customers forever! Thank you for the beautiful memories today!!!!

Yes, during the pumpkin patch season the cafe is open when the rest of the farm is open. It is not open during summer events.
