We stumbled upon this place and decided to take the family there. It turned out to be so fun. There was a lot to do and see. We saw deer, armadillos and other animals. I'm not really and outdoor person and I am planning on going back to walk the other trails (there are 3) and to go visit some of the other exhibits we didn't have time to see. If you go, wear comfortable shoes, take bug spray and some water. You can even pack a picnic they have so many shaded sitting areas. Bathrooms were also clean.

Lovely place to bring the kids, there are short trails ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 mile that were a good length for our young kids. Plenty of bathrooms and places to stop and rest along the way. Highly recommend, you have to pay. Recommend buying tickets online.

The pontoon boat ride Saturday morning was so very nice! The birds were plentiful and the weather was perfect! Thanks to our Captain, James, and our guide, Gene, our experience was entertaining and educational.

We have recently discovered Armand Bayou and all it has to offer only recently. The staff and programs are all very engaging and fun. My 4 year old loves the Eco programs for kids.

Hi Mike! We don't allow fishing at the nature center because we're a wildlife preserve. However, we do some limited catch and release as an activity during our ecocamps if you're looking for something for kids! More info here: abnc.org/ecocamps We hope you can come out and enjoy sightseeing the wildlife and beautiful scenery!
That place is for walking or cycling or if you like to run and if you can take food there you can eat next to it there are some benches to rest beautiful place
You can pay online or at the admissions office.
Hello! No, there is no fishing here, but we have beautiful hiking trails with overlooks to the bayou!
Hello! We don't allow bicycles on the trails for safety reasons and because it degrades them. Thank you for your question!
Yes, from what I remember there is wheelchair accessibility. Keep in mind the trails are natural trails.
I think it was $5 for adults
Don't think you can fish here =P it's a nature preserve. I see plenty of people fishing around clear lake and the surrounding rivers and bayous so it must be alright.
There is a small turn around before the gate. Plenty of room for several vehicles.
There is still a harvest festival every November with crafts!
The dock is at Bayarea Park just down the street from the Nature Center toward down town Clearcreek TX. Where the bridge crosses Armand Bayou on Bay Area Blvd.
None, u can't fish, there is a swamp like small lake with alligators
ABNC does not have a rehabilitation program.
