There is a small turn around before the gate. Plenty of room for several vehicles.
From what I remember, there is a driveway to the center. However, you will come to a gate and I guess you can hang out on the driveway until the gate is opened. Not really a parking lot per se. There is a nice park that is maybe half a mile away called Bay Area Park. You could go hang out there until 12.
