Awesome people, peaceful, and relaxing. Beautiful beach and fires on the beach.

This campground is more for RVs. We wanted tent camping and the area for it can fit maybe 10 tents totalπ You cannot make reservations. You have to just go and hope you can get a space. The area for tents is camping on a beach, not a wooded area. They have one beach and it is not a big beach its rather small and can get cramped easily and fast. Camping here is just the owners backyard. There is no area for showering, no electricity and one Porta-Potty for all tent campers.

Im giving it a soft three stars for tent camping. The location is great, right on a sandy beach. The owner however, greated me with a "what?" When she answered the door. She didnt want to let us stay with our dog becasue "all dogs are yappy" but we convinced her since no one else was in the tent sights. The picnic tables where all stacked on eachother except for 1 that wasnt in a great spot. They had 2 portajons that were clean and just fine. No potable water anywhere. Lots of little trash all over the beach Again, the spot was great, swiming on the beach was perfect. With a few little changes it could be a 5 star spot.

I loved camping here. The water was beautiful, it takes some getting used to being in sand the whole time but it's awesome to sleep right on the beach next to the water with a fire going. They keep the port-o-potty very clean which is nice. Hoping to be back there again this summer and more prepared for this primitive style camping.

$20 per tent per night... Quite lil spot...
Campsite is open, the owners are just having problems with phone services... I am here and talked to owner today, he said just stop on in and he will work on the phone issues as soon as possible. Great family campsite. Love it here.
What is a working # for this place? I need to call them and ask about open spots for campers. We want to leave 2 year round... please help!!!!!

There is a marina next door for seasonal boat docking, and a public boat ramp into the river less than a quarter of a mile down the road. I'm unsure of seasonal camp rates, but you can call 419-734-5186 to get answers.
I tent camp and it's $20 a night ....am there now and right now there looks like plenty of spots by the beach where tent camping is
If your there with your family.... Then you should KNOW, A CRYING BABY IS OUT OF THEIR CONTROL. HEADLIGHTS... HMMM, MAYBE TRYING TO GET THE BABY TO SLEEP. OBVIOUSLY, THIS IS SOMEWHERE "YOU" SHOULDN'T BE. GO TO AMISH COUNTRY. 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND.... DID YOU EXPECT IT TO BE QUIET!!! I'M "SURE" THEY WON'T MISS YOUR BUSINESS. π€―
