We were told multiple times that we could troll with this outfit, and actually catch some fish, and this was a lie. We went out on a charter on Friday evening and we caught one walleye, one white bass, two catfish, two perch, and a ton of drum. We were forced to jig instead of troll, and at one point the wind wasn't blowing, and our bait was just hanging straight down in the water like we were perch fishing (when we caught two dinky perch). The worms we were given were old and rotten, and came off the hook almost immediately. The captain got off his seat maybe two times, and didn't help with netting of fish, or anything. Of course I can't fault him for that, because we didn't really catch anything. We went out the next morning with an actual charter company and caught 18 walleye. They trolled the whole time, and they had a first mate that was johnny on the spot with the net, and helped with positioning the rods etc. A person would be better off going out on a head boat for $45 a pop, before they use A N J. I'm not even going to go into detail about the trailer where we stayed. I will just say that a person would have to be an Olympic high jumper to get into the bunk beds. 6 guys with one toilet is a bad situation. I will say this...at least the toilet didn't clog.
