This park is more popular for walking, running, picnicking, dogs, art. Great for kids to walk trails and run around in the open spaces, but no traditional playground with slides and such. There is a pretty cool natural play area attached to the east end of the park (Sabine street) that does have a slide, steps and other obtacles to play on, but not a traditional playground setup.
I'm unsure what you mean by library...this is a park. If you are referring to a "little library", I have not seen one as if yet.
Not sure parking meter price but there is a public parking in front of the entrance of the park however weekends are very busy also they blocked 3/4 parts for valet parking.
If we park at a meter before 630 do you only have to pay until 630?

Yes. You only pay up until the free time.
This is our first time to the event today. Taking the family. Unclear on the responses. Can we take our own chairs and or a blanket in the park for the event today?

8 pm latest. Fireworks start at 9:30 Depends on where you park whether you pay for it or not.
