Awesome campground, very family friendly. Kids loved the playground. Very dog friendly. The only negative is the fire pits are on the small side.

Nice city/county run campground. Very limited cell service. A legitimate ice cream truck drove by on Friday evening No campground office, just a camp host. Sites with electric and water with clean bathrooms and a nice playground for the kids. Make your reservation and pay online then drive to your site.

Very nice shaded campground, walking distance to Jamestown Reservoir beach, marina/restaurant and overlook hike/bike trail. Possibly the best handicapped accessible sites I've ever seen. Highly recommend

In all,a wonderful place for kids to run and play free! Very large campsites at reasonable prices. Individual cabins are cozy quaint and clean. It's great that they come around and offer firewood wild camping on a weekend for a nominal fee. Very close to the lake so access is convenient. Off-road vehicles are no problem.

Quiet hrs generally start at around 11pm. Yes there is plenty of shore for fishing and for the use of a metal detector.
