My mom and I scheduled appointments on March 15 for today, June 1. We tried calling five times before March 15, and no one answered the phone. We got no confirmation of our appointments today, but we showed up at our scheduled time. The woman at the desk had laryngitis and was coughing, which isn’t very comforting during the Covid 19 pandemic. She said she didn’t have our appointments in their system because their system was hacked and all appointments scheduled the week of March 15 were deleted. We said it would have been a good idea for Eye Associates to send out an email to patients letting them know this happened and asking us to call if we scheduled that week. The woman rudely said they have too many patients and wouldn’t do that. She also said it wasn’t their fault. Well, it certainly wasn’t our fault. Rather than apologizing, she was very rude.We spent a half hour checking in, which was frustrating. We had our appointments. Our prescriptions stayed the same. Then, when I went to check out, the woman at the check out desk said she was busy working on other patients and wasn’t ready for us. I said I wanted to order contact lenses, and she told me to go to the optician desk. I have never had to go there before to order contacts. It was always at the front desk or check out desk. The man at the optician desk said I needed a printed prescription. He went back to the checkout lady. She said I haven’t had an updated contact prescription since 2015. I have ordered contacts ten times since then with no issue. The optician man went to the back without saying anything to us and was gone a long time. I didn’t want to wait any longer, so I decided to leave, which is very frustrating because I really wanted to order the contacts. The front desk staff made it a very unpleasant experience. Update: The next year and the place is still horrible. They never answer the phone, they bill incorrectly, and no one responds when I try to resolve their billing issues.

Was sent the wrong address so I called and the lady gave me the right address and i was only 8 minutes away and they still wouldn’t take me. Ridiculous.

There should be a zero star rsting for this company. I've visited offucess in Cherry Hill, Vineland, and Blackwood. Each visit is never on time. Today I had a 730am appointment. The first from what I was told. No other patients in the office and I still am in the waiting room at 745am. This place is an embarassment. Save yourself the trouble and head somewhere else. This is the third time this has happened to me in this organization. Totally unprofessional. Complete lack of respect for patients time.

Truly could not have been a more terrible experience. Dr. Richiutti was not able to do his job and yelled at his patient in the process! My eyes were dilated before the exam and when I told them that would affect the exam, they said I was wrong. When adjusting my prescription, I couldn’t read anything unless I squinted. I told the doctor this and he told me “it’s just because your eyes are dilated” you can see just fine. I left and could not read so much as the giant green signs on the highway. I made another appointment to get this fixed and the doctor refused to come back and see me. He instead sent his technician in with 5-8 different pairs of contacts, without ever doing a proper exam. When I demanded he came in and did the exam, he came in YELLING. when I still couldn’t see clearly after the exam, he threw the ophthalmoscope back in my face and continued yelling and asked “if I wanted him to make up a prescription”. He then told me he’d just “rewrite my prescription from last year”. So, I wouldn’t suggest ever coming to Dr. Rachiutti, unless you do not want to see! My annual eye exam totally wasted + q copay and I still can’t see!
