Magnificent place to camp. Must camp at least 4 days to satisfy your hiking urges.

We camped in the North camp by the little lake. Yes there were bugs, but hey, it was camping. Wonderful time, no cell service, incredible dark night sky for star watching and very friendly guests and staff. Funny story, could have sold our tear-drop trailer out from under ourselves after showing the unit to neighbors who were very interested in buying or building one of their own. What a great weekend.

Nice campground located directly at Summit Lake. First come first serve. We had a very large site for ourselves and enjoyed it very much.

Beautiful campsites close to the lake and a short drive from other amenities within Lassen. The campsites are a little smaller than to be anticipated, but the outer ring sites allow for great tree coverage and access to quieter locations. Very family friendly.

Picnic tables yes. Restrooms yes. Snow... Can't tell you that one. Maybe call the ranger's office or visitor's center and ask.
