Always like coming to RKS. Their TSA is efficient and quick. Great little airport. ***UPDATE*** The airport is under a remarkable upgrade. Be patient and allow for some extra time picking up your rides and getting through security.

We are so glad and lucky that this airport is here with daily service to Denver! When the highways close due to snow and/or wind, we can still travel and still get family, friends, and clients into and out of Rock Springs. Also, a major "Thank You!" to the team who works at RKS. They are extremely helpful and pleasant, and can be the difference from a panic travel situation working out for the best.

The ticketing, screening and boarding processes were all fine. There is a comfortable waiting area to sit in prior to check in. There was a live scale to check your baggage weight prior. Vending machines and a photo scene was also there. (for fun 😉). Staff and other personal were courteous.

The airport is small and efficient. Security will not take much time at all. If you arrive 45 minutes before your flight that will be plenty of time.

You should check where you are flying to! The airline does not require a covid test, but the location you're going to may. Most places in the continental US, do not require a test though.
Not directly. You'd have to connect through Denver on United There is a private charter company there that may accommodate you direct to Laramie.

If the flight was canceled due to weather or other airline related events, call the airline and rebook for no additional fees. RKS has small planes and the seats fill up fast so I highly recommend booking ASAP.
