The airport is small and efficient. Security will not take much time at all. If you arrive 45 minutes before your flight that will be plenty of time.
You need to be at the airport 3 hours early for check in. 90 minutes at the minimum.
You can check in via the mobile app with united 24hrs before your flight but yeah 45 minutes to get through security is plenty of time.
