We are all masked, and require our guests to mask. We conduct meetings for custom work, or other services that require extended time together on either side of a barrier. We limit the total number of guests, and lock the front door as necessary. Jewelry is sanitized and steamed. We offer private meetings on a limited basis for high-risk folks (no other guests in store at the same time). We have hand sanitizer stations in the gallery. We offer curbside pick-up with pre-payment of repairs and purchases.

Hello Joanna, and thanks for the question. If you are asking if we solder silver, the answer is yes. Price will depend upon us seeing the break or pieces that need to be soldered together.

Hi Rozlyn! Thanks for asking. I am completely qualified to perform a Fair Market Value appraisal on your gems, but that expertise comes at a cost. If you want to sell your gems to a jeweler or pawnbroker, however, there is no reason to pay me. You just go from place to place, getting bids. You then get the expertise at no cost, and you will truly find out what the market will bear. We provide “bids to buy” at no charge. You then compare our offer to others, and decide to whom you want to sell. Sometimes (whether us or anyone else), there is no offer, because there’s no interest. If you are hoping to sell your gems to an end consumer (as opposed to a business, then you might perhaps need appraisals from someone with my training, which is a service for which I charge an hourly fee. Hellow, Beata! Thanks for your question! Yes, I am a Graduate Gemologist, which is what you need for the purposes of identification of gemstones and diamonds. This expertise comes at $100 per hour. If the stones are loose, then testing for most stones is really quite quick...probably about 5 to 10 minutes (so, about $9 - $18 each). Some things are tougher (and therefore take longer), but generally not. That all said, if I can tell the lack of authenticity of something by simply peeking at it, I will not charge anything at all. Since I am the only Graduate Gemologist on staff currently, please be sure to call in advance to set an appointment, or at least to see if I'm working on a given day, and if my schedule will allow a "walk-in."
