It’s the most worst hospital you can try it in your life specially in emergency room I took my daughter 10 years old there to see her because she had redness eyes with a dry coughing she can barely breathe this is not the first time i took her for twice The similar reason but without redness eyes the both times they didn’t do anything for her even I ask them at least to doing the x-ray for her at least to know what’s going on they tell me no she didn’t need it she is good but when I come back home still she had the same symptoms nothing change I just was there for 6 hour for nothing just take a money from my daughter insurance but nothing do it for her I said to myself it’s OK I will keep giving her some medicine probably she will be good later still nothing change she almost take the cough medicine for a whole month but this time I went again to Sam hospital wich is the ((NORTH SHOR HOSPITAL)) SKOKIE in the same emergency room they keep me waiting and waiting area for 5hours and when I’m asking when they gonna let me go in to doctor seeing my dughter the attitude of the ladies on front desk they’re in emergency room it was really bad just she tell me just keep waiting I didn’t know when they gonna call you even I told her I kept waiting all this time she just keep saying I don’t know I don’t know her attitude with patient was really bad and I tried to telling to the Security lady in the front door there what’s happened she was staying beside the receptions lady even she knows will her action wasnt good with patience unsaid that she put the blaming on me in that time I asked the Security lady to just tell me the leadership of this hospital to tell him what’s going on in his hospital she didn’t care and dont lets me know that with his laughing I feel unrespectable in this hospital and never ever repeat it this bad experience in this hospital even if i will be in bad health condition well choose date and don’t go to this hospital to recoverd me ! Joseph Raviv is an unethical, treacherous doctor that performs unnecessary surgeries on patients for additional insurance money. I visited Dr Raviv in 2014, and all I needed was endoscopic sinus surgery (where the surgeon widens the sinus passages to promote better drainage). However, when I was sedated, he threw in an unnecessary septoplasty that severely narrowed the right side of my nasal airway. For people reading this, I have included x-ray images of the inside of my nose, before and after my surgery with him (THE IMAGES CAN BE SEEN ON HIS YELP PROFILE. I CAN'T POST THEM HERE CAUSE NORTHSHORE KEEPS REMOVING THEM). As you can see from these images, my nasal airway was equally open on both sides, before surgery, and the septoplasty didn't need to be done. By performing it, he severely narrowed the right side of my nasal airway. Raviv performed this unnecessary surgery to collect that additional insurance money. There is no other explanation for this. Furthermore, when I later contacted him, and told him that my breathing was worse, and I suspected it was a problem with my septum, he told me that he wouldn't be able to perform the revision septoplasty (make it the way it was before). Therefore, not only is he greedy, by performing unnecessary surgeries, but he is incompetent, for not being able to fix his mistakes. This unnecessary surgery has caused me to suffer for 7 years. Since I can't really breathe out of my nose, I don't sleep well at night. I am then exhausted all day, not able to function well, and there is nothing that can be done to fix it. I have lost friends, and jobs over the years, and I am not able to pursue some of the career goals that I wanted to when I was younger. The only reason I can't sue Raviv is that my statute of limitations for medical malpractice has expired. In addition, Raviv is also a coward. As soon as I started talking about my negative experience online, instead of apologizing or trying to remedy the situation, Raviv hired a disgusting, corrupt, unethical lawyer named Luisa Trujillo (who now, ironically, works as the head of Northshore Legal affairs). This lawyer sent me a cookie cutter "Cease and Desist", informing me that I would be "sued" if I didn't stop talking about my experience. What a joke! That was 4 years ago, and I haven't stopped anything. When that didn't work, Raviv went "in tears" to the Northbrook Police Department, hoping they would scare me into not sharing my story. That was now 2 years ago. Well guess what, I am not going to stop talking. I am going to keep spreading the word until everyone connected to Northshore knows about this. This doctor absolutely devastated my life, and the hospital did nothing about it. Please share this information with other people in the Chicagoland area.

Worst clinic ever! Gone to lunch and would not even let my injured son sit in lobby for 5min until break was over. Truly disgusted by the attitude in this clinic. Patient care is definitely not their first priority!

Great service but the room they put me in for my examination had a dirty floor. Even the floors on my way to my room... These floors need to stay clean, mopped, buffed with clear coats. Step your game up north shore!
