I've been trying to see a apartment for two weeks at least. But I am told it has been forwarded. What a joke.

I put in a application almost two weeks ago . Edyta the person in the office is bad at responding to emails and phone calls . She claimed my check stubs was blurry on my app and I needed to resend them which was last Saturday. She said I needed to respond to the email she had just sent , funny because I never received the email nor did I resend the check stubs but somehow she can see them clearly now . I called for 3 days before I could get an answer just for someone to tell me she’s not in the office because she took off , ok cool. I called again because apparently the message I left didn’t get delayed . She said she was waiting on my employer to pick up the phone because she could never get an answer lol I called my employer right after and I got an answer . I then provided her with my employer email and phone number again . She emailed my employer yesterday, with two logo pictures of Draper & Kramer and asked if she could verify my employment. My boss expressed that she could fill out the form when she get back to the office because it was after 5pm , but Edyta failed to send the verification form over . I received an email today stating that she didn’t receive a response from my employer email or no one ever picked up the phone . There’s always someone in the office during business hours and response to emails are always within 24 hours in the office . Only my boss can do employment verification so I did email her and ask about the emails and calls she has forwarded those responses to me and guess what ? There was no form sent over nor a call made to the office . I’m appalled like really appalled ! I honestly feel like I was mislead , lied to and discriminated against !!!! I spent almost two weeks waiting on this place approval and paid money for an application smh

At first I thought this would a perfect place for me to live at near the lake and downtown area, moved from the South Suburbs, but I've moved in at 401 32nd, ever since I've moved in most of the windows is missing the opener, and Bedroom Door will not close properly I had to push the Door from up Top to close it, the kitchen Sink has an issue with bubble soap comes out of the drain so it's been some plumbing issue. I don't think I am very happy here after two months, I'm about to look somewhere else.

Great apartments with great ambiance. But services should be more organised sometimes. Like the security issues and stuffs. But what I like most about them: they are coordinate every time with every little single things. Good luck!

I second this!
I'm sure for the background check but I don't really know about the credit score
Interestingly, as a current resident this is what happens when you call them (often during business hours): your call goes to an answering service where the staff have prompts to tell u they will pass on your message / questions but cannot directly answer your questions/maintenance request. All they can do is write down your concern and you have to cross your fingers that for Lake Meadows management will reply. From my experience, if it deals with a complaint or a request for maintenance, your request can be conveniently ignored since you didn't "directly" speak to Lake Meadows.
They will first require you to give them $500 for a "background check" and if they do/don't approve u, you won't get that money back. They do not have any air conditioning, it's very hot in the summer. They use radiators in the winter that are not controllable so u have to leave the windows open to let out the heat in the winter.
Not sure. But they tried to charge us $1200 to move out. Then we had our lawyer review the lease and send a letter... $1200 fee disappeared! 🤷🏼♀️
There's no cap on rent and yes it does increase every other year. And no i don't think there's a senior discount on rent
No, it's average
Yes
Check on their portal
Great question Aaron. Parking is separate - it's an annual permit fee of $65.
Hello Henrietta, We do accept vouchers at Lake Meadows. I would like to invite you to set up an in-person tour or a virtual tour of the community with one of our Leasing Consultants?
My friend lives there, I have no idea how much rents are.
I don't know about the gym buy every apartment has heaters. I just moved there and I love it!
Utility package is roughly around $80 that includes water, trash, and heat. You are responsible for electricity, cable and internet.
They are very safe
They do. In fact, as one of their operators said "If it has lockjaw, it isnt welcome". This includes German Shepherds apparently, YET the ad on the Hotspots website welcomes large breeds. -.- I love how people hate on dogs they've never met. Disgusting.
It's a dog community. Everyone has dogs and leave dog piss in the elevators and on all the corners in the lobby. It's a disgrace!
I'm on a lower floor and the heat is extremely hot when it's maybe 40 degrees out. You wake up with nosebleeds. Then on the days when it's below zero it's freezing and really drafty. You have to put blankets over the windows and use space heaters. We nearly froze to death during the polar vortex last week.
That's what crack cocaine smell like.
The dryers at Lake Meadows sometimes don't push any heat. If u ask for refund they'll ask for your credit card statement and won't even fix the issue until u further insist
