Quick and easy. If you have things in bags they give the bags back to you. If there's something they can't take they'll give that back too-

Easy to drop off old electronics and household chemicals at this location. Check website for hours and items accepted.
It's best to load electronics in trunk, then chemicals. Stay in your car until asked to remove your devices for disposal.
They took my old partial bags of pesticides and herbicides, too! I got rid of old nonfunctional spray paint cans, solvents, enamel paint and caustic paint remover. An old VCR and old tube TV finally out of my basement!
Busy staff.
Thanks for providing this vital service for the citizens of the City of Chicago!

Unfortunately the City has not approved the plan to re-open the HCCRF yet. I will post on here once we get a start date or open. We are hoping it will be soon.
You can always call 311 to find out when it is open too.
As stated before, the facility is still closed and will remain closed until approved to open by the City. We do not have a date but we will post here and of course with 311 when that happens.
