Had an alright experience here. As others have noted make sure your required identification paperwork is in order; ID, proof of residency etc. there was a long line as expected but you just wait patiently. The workers I encountered were all so friendly and very helpful. From the man at the beginning who checks your identification paperwork, to the woman who took my instruction permit/license photo, to the woman who processed my payment and wished me luck in my written test (which I passed btw 😃) and congratulated me after! Was in by 1230 and out by 130pm and was able to do everything I wanted then and there.
Do note they have moved offices. They aren’t exactly at the state building; they now opposite Walgreens on the right and Cadillac theatre on the left. See picture. Otherwise great service from all the workers.

Customer agent told me to sign on ID by handwritten full name instead of signature. I wrote my official signature at the first time, but he asked to write full name. So, I asked why he said it needs to be your full name. And I asked very last minute. He acknowledged that full name is correct. So, I asked it from next agent at next desk. He said: sorry you already written here, change your official signature. What a bad experience…. Messed my day up

If all the information on the license is correct and does not need to be changed, it can count as your identification. (But I think it would have to be before it expires?).
You need proof of address Like A Utility Bill Or Transcript From your high school You need a Birth Certificate Your Social Security card And 10 dollars if under 18 And 20 dollars if 18 and older
Well actually,it all depends on how long the ID has been expired.if it's been expired over a year than you will need
1. Birth certificate
2. Social Security Card
3. Proof of residence.
If it hasn't been expired over a Year than just bring in the old ID...

I have my married last name on my state id card. Been married for acouple of years now. Now I want to have both my married name and maiden name on my id. IS this possible if so what do I need to take?

Personally I would check with your local post office see if they might have it if not I would go to the secretary of state and maybe ask about it or go threw the process again maybe it got lost in the mail or something best of luck.

Since real ID needed soon, they may request lot more documents. Better check what’s proof is needed for real ID. Unless you never plan to do any air travel.

If just a replacement you need nothing else. But if it an upgrade to Real ID you need more. Check your requirements.

You only need your old DL if you don't need an address change.
If you need to change your address, you'll need a utility bill or home or renters insurance.

It's on the lower level of the atrium. The Pink line platform is 2 levels above. There are both elevators and escalators to get you there.

You should have a card since you have a social. If you need a new one you can order it https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/replacement-card.html or you can use a W2, paystub, or SSA or non-SSA 1099 form which can also be proof of your full SSN.

Provided the Lien has been satisfied (meaning you don't owe any money)and you're the sole owner just come in with your plate # or Vin # and a current ID and it's a fee of $50. Or $80 if you want it expedited.
