There is no other place near Chicago that has a Transition, Vocational, and Residential program for young adults ages 18-22

Don't get me wrong it's a good place but it's a lot of drama. You do meet a lot of good friends but some is drama

What does this school have to offer? I'm writing this from Illinois School for the Visually Impaired in Jacksonville Illinois. I am considering going there next year. I heard about this place from George Perez.

Thank you for inquiring Katie. ICRE-R is a state run facility just like ISD and ISVI, but it is for young adults with severe physical disabilities. It is a transition program where we emphasize independent living skills in the 1st year and employment in the 2nd year. I hope this is helpful.
