Very bureaucratic and inefficient. They have so many unnecessary steps that add to time and frustration. She started by explaining that they do drug test only between two and four (nowhere in my registration was that mentioned). After haggling she decided to check if they have any appointments and since they had none and the office was completely empty she proceeded with my test. So unusual and weird I felt almost like in twilight zone.

Just wanted to post a huge thank you to the staff of LabCorp in Arlington Heights, IL. What I was hoping would be simple bloodwork turned out to be a mess that basically was brought about by the way my order for the blood tests was written. The staff would have been totally in their rights to send me back to the doctor to have the order rewritten. Instead, I had 3 staff members trying to find a way to be able to draw blood without making me jump through hoops to make it happen. Rather they were the ones who jumped through the hoops. In particular Jigna Patel, a 22-year veteran of the industry, took the time to "recode" 20 blood tests from a different lab into LabCorp's system and then checked with my insurance costs for each and every one of those tests to see if they were covered and what my total costs were going to be. This was clearly outside the scope of her responsibilities as a phlebotomist, not an "administrator". To the thank you I offered her for her help, she responded by saying "we try and do our best". That was an incredibly rare and much appreciated attitude, especially from someone who has been dealing with the public for such a long time. These people and this office are professionals who genuinely care about their patients. Thank you Jigna and thank you to all the staff in this office.

I never post reviews, and I try to be so patient and understanding; however, I wish I could give this place 0 stars. In the confirmation email I received for my appointment, it told me I was good to go if I had the confirmation number and QR code, but failed to mention I would need a registration code. I could not find it anywhere. It also didn’t mention anything about masks, so I figured they weren’t needed. I walked in to the lady at the front desk yelling at a customer. I checked in at the kiosk, which was next to useless. I sat down and waited. About 10 minutes later, the lady asked me to check in with her. She told me I needed a mask, but she would not provide me with one even for a charge. I am not one to refuse to wear a mask, I am conscious about how helpful it is. She told me to go to Walgreen’s down the street. When I returned, she was extremely rude and condescending towards me. I couldn’t find the registration code and you would’ve thought it was the end of the world. She was relentless and awful. I ended up just leaving and will make an appointment elsewhere because I will never go back there.

The phlebotomist was very quick, kind, and gentle. Unfortunately, she is the only one working there and doing everything herself, so please be patient. Btw you'll need to wear a mask upon entering.
