I went here on a recommendation to photograph ducks. There were mostly geese here today. There was a couple of ducks as well. There were these ducks that had a red head that I had not seen before. I met a nice biologist women who works here and she told me these were red-headed ducks. 5 stars for friendly, knowledgeable employees, a nice pond with a flat mowed trail that goes around it. There is a picnic table here too. Would be a nice place to bring a child, but you can't feed the ducks here. No hunting either.

Most of the state run launches on the Finger Lakes that require a fee or daily pass are run by State Parks.

You probably should call their office for legal questions, rather than holding the truth to something posted on the internet... I've heard that when you try to laminate the new licenses, it turns them black. Call the DEC anyways.
You do undersrand you're posting a question to the public and may get opinions or incorrect answers? It's probably best to actually call the state office and speak with someone that knows the correct answer. My guess is yes, as long as you can shoot safely- but see, that may be wrong...
If you are over 70, a fishing license is $5 for the whole year. Or $65 for rest of your life.
They don't monitor the Google questions. You'll need to call the office and dial 0 for the operator. They will send to the right person with the answer. This office staffs all divisions and most questions can be answered in their website.
