Insurance companies are for profit the only way to make money off of the sick, elderly, dying, disabled, poor, children and all other vulnerable people is to deny them service that's the only way an insurance company can make money - to avoid paying. their use of the term customer service advocate is a mind phuk. an advocate works on the behalf of a vulnerable person to ensure that they get what they need. an insurance company can only make money by denying what is needed. their insurance tiered system demonstrates their lack of advocacy. the automated computerized voice system that greets you before the human representative demonstrates their lack of actual interest in humans. And before common decent greetings when you do get a human representative, you must first cite your member number name and birthdate. Remember we are now engaged in medical care that is referred to as the healthcare industry which is no longer focused on medical arts. something to think about

DON'T GET THIS INSURANCE !!! This is the last insurance you want to have especially if you turned sixty-five!!! They keep refusing to pay my bills telling all of the medical providers that I have another coverage under Social Security. Well I don't have Any Coverage with any other company and even when I've informed Blue Cross of that they Still won't cover me and pay my medical providers. Even my yearly Mammogram!!! I'M ON THE PHONE ALL THE TIME and still I can't get it taken care of!! WORST MEDICAL COMPANY EVER!

I would call the 800 number on the back of your card for the specific details of what is available to you in your plan
These 2 answers are correct
There is someone at the front desk that can direct you to the cashier
If you mean for people that are insured with us ? The answer is if your plan supports it, go on Blue 365 and check to see. If no luck call customer service and they can help. It's to no one specific gym...but to many in the area for same price. Or sign in on the member website and check it out.
I'd call customer service. They answer all sorts of questions.
That might be correct. However you might Give them a call just to be sure. They are very helpful. Good luck!
You can download their mobile app and have a virtual card on your smartphone.
I think you can until they are 26 but call to make sure
I don't know. Try calling. I am sure they can help you.
Yes there should be if not call customer service
You can go to the website, find a doctor tab. Lists all participating doctors. Or you can download the mobile app.
Please see a "Navigator" about plans via the exchange or a licensed insurance broker. The copay impacts the premium rather substantially, and the best plan for you balances the two
Unlikely, but call the number on the back of your card to confirm
None
I would think you need to speak with her to find out. Things like HIPAA are not best discussed online
Here is a link to the "Email us" page on the Excellus BCBS website: https://www.excellusbcbs.com/wps/portal/xl/contact-us/email-us
Call the phone number on the back of your card. Plans vary
Doctor
It depends on your metal plan but there may be a reimbursement gym fee
If that service is reimbursable if not no Still the need for EMS will have to be determined as necessary
You will have to call the customer service number on the back of the card
Your id number is on your card usually starts with 3 letters example VYI
Make sure that your employer has your most current information. Try notifying (with a letter and snail mail) your employer and sending a copy of the letter to Excellus Blue Cross. Keep a copy of the letter and the date that you sent it. That way you are covered if there are any disputes arising out of the change of address. Just an idea since you talked to both and they both denied responsibility.
