This is my "go-to" pizza place. 90% of the time I get this: Large pan pizza, double sauce, pepperoni, onions, TRIPLE jalapenos and bacon. I order this delivered about twice a month, roughly. It's always fabulous. I've been a pizza fan all my life (I'm 63), and Marco's delivers the best Detroit style deep dish pizza, period. End of paragraph!

EDIT: talked to Randy, the owner. He knows we've been loyal customers for 7 years, and he apologized very sincerely. I think it's rare these days that business owners admit fault and make things right, so I appreciated the call and his words. I can imagine it's been hard to run a business during the last two years, and we look forward to continuing the support Randy and his employees by giving them our business. Normally, Marco's is our go-to for our birthday parties and family events. They are usually always on time and and it's usually always delicious. Yesterday, my order (which I placed on Thursday, 2 days ahead of time) was 25 minutes late and the pizzas were both overdone and had sat in the boxes too long. When I called to ask where my order was, I got a snippy response from the person who answered the phone. I know a lot of businesses are struggling to find good help, or any help at all, right now. It's unfortunate that the consequences of that are getting passed on to the customers.

Probably to save money in labor costs and overhead.
