Hi Michael, You are correct that at approximately 9:30 am as bus 196 was going thr ough a tollbooth the right side mirror struck the tollbooth and was knocked off. While this should not have happened, clearance for coaches through tollbooths is very tight. After the mirror was struck, the driver followed correct protocol by stopping as soon as it was safe after exiting the tunnel and installing an emergency mirror that we carry on all coaches. This allowed the trip to continue in a safe manner. As with any incident like this we review camera footage to fully understand the circumstances and take appropriate actions to ensure further safe operating.
