Great little dinner and live music at the Cove in Compass Lake. Nice open air pavilion on the lakeside with Cornhole games, dance floor, stage, and bar with a small menu. Great place for a little dinner and entertainment outside style.

We enjoyed our Easter weekend getaway here with our son, his wife and children also renting a cabin. We had fishing, great view, rented kayaks and loved rowing around lake, the food at Olles was superb. We were able to grill out one night as they provide outside grills. Monica in the office is very helpful, willing to answer all questions and provided us with information about their events while we were there. If you want a rustic, quiet getaway then this is the place to go. We have already made reservations for next getaway! UPDATE: We stayed Easter and 4th of July 2022 weekend in the lakehouse! Loved the privacy, view, and set up. Monica was absolutely wonderful and took care of an issue with someone parking and trying to set up camp in back of lakehouse within 15 mins of me speaking with her about it. She went out of her way to make sure everything we needed or requested was received timely. The only suggestion I can make is PLEASE put a grill at the lakehouse. They have full kitchens but being able to grill would have been great especially on the 4th! We will definitely be booking time there again and have recommended Compass Lake in the Hills cabins to others to enjoy! This is definitely our staycation place to go!

when I was there had breakfast every day was only there 4 days. Saturday thru Tuesday morning. Went to eat about 8 a.m.
FL has Jurassic Park size bugs. Trading them for no snow is a no brainer.:) Late Oct-Nov-Dec is great. Getting into late Jan/Feb it does get in the teens @ night, but 60's/70's by day. Then spring is awesome too, before spring break tho. :)
