This place is really cool! Take a wagon ride on an adventure feeding many types of animals. My favorite is the giraffes feeding them or watching them run. I have been here 2 times so I have experienced both. It's a great little adventure to take with family.

I’ve been to Global Wildlife a few times now with my kids and have always had a great experience. We have always done the wagon tour and have only had the giraffes come over ONCE. However, this time we decided to do an early private tour. It was more costly but totally worth it! We were at eye level with the animals and got feed & pet them. We even got to feed the giraffes!! One of the giraffes even put it’s head in the wagon to eat right out of the bin! The tour guide/driver was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and kind. The kids asked her a-lot of questions and she answered all of them and made them feel important. Highly highly recommend!!

My experience at Global Wildlife was great. The customer service was good. However, my expectations was higher than my experience. Lol I expected to see more variety animals. But it is definitely an attraction to visit and enjoy with family.

Tori was an amazing guide! We had so much fun seeing and feeding those precious animals. It was so amazing to see them in open space rather than the typical zoo experience. I definitely recommend the private tour!! So worth the additional cost!!

It's great
We went about 10 am. It was a spring like day. That made it more enjoyable..
I think a 32 oz cup of their food is like six or seven bucks
No, they only have non predatory animals such as bison, giraffes, etc.
Combining Global Wildlife with a swamp tour makes for a wonderful day. We use Honey Island Swamp tours out of Slidell.
There is a ramp to get on the wagons, the walkway and entrance to the wagon is slim but would fit a smaller wheelchair. I would contact Global and they will be able to give you specific information.
You can go to the website and get their contact number and all details. Adult $19 & child (above 2) $11
16 a person for the public tour. A private tour is a bit more expensive but you need to have 4 people. Then you also want to buy food for the animals.
We just went last weekend (beginning of June) and it was great. We go every year at this time. If doing the private tour id suggest going as early in the day as you can. The 8am tour is probably more crucial than the time of year. :)
As a teacher, I'm assuming that the school district that your child is in has to pay for the transportation as well as admission. If I'm not mistaken, the children also get a cup of food to feed to the animals. I believe that the $24 fee is a total of everything that your child is receiving.
It is open, not affected by Ida
There are lots of people that can fit on the wagon.i would suggest a private safari, given that you have a toddler.it cost a little more but its worth it.also buy a sack or bin of food so you can feed the animals.it goes pretty fast .such a wonderful experience nonetheless. Hope this was helpful
No ma'am
The tour takes about 90 minutes. It starts on the hours.
They have three different wild food options! Cup, bucket & a bag size. I would say the cup was not enough even for one person! And I am sorry I can't remember the prices but I kn that it really is not much at all. But it will be well worth it! Have a awsome adventure travel safe n blessed
It is definitely open. Just call to reserve a spot. During this time they are asking that you pay in advance for the tickets.
No, but you can feed animals from the cart and kids can pet the animals.
It needs to be closed for the horrible treatment of the animals.
It $40 a person for a private tour. Well worth it. The large box of feed was $75 . We had the two Grand kids they had a great time next time we will get more feed.
Try their website and FB page. Or you can always just call them directly and ask.
I believe its $15 and $2 for a cup of feed.
Yes mama
Yes
At least 30 mins early. Also, make sure you buy alot of feed. One cup will go quickly
19$ for 12& up 11$ for children
$19 for adults
No, but it looks like they have a certificate issue which makes a Google based browser throw up a security flag. Hit advanced and then you can click allow website to actually bypass the flag
I called today and they said they are open......?
No, they aren't any. Just sit while it is in motion and be careful when feeding. I'd suggest don't touch the animals with bare hands while pregnant, just hold out your feeding cup. Other than that, go pee before the ride. Its about 1.5 hours. Been pregnant 2x and it sucked not being able to stop to go. So be ready. It helps to not drink during the ride too.
They have different prices per age. It is on their website. Click at the top for a safari tour. If you want a private tour it is a set price per person and you have to have a certain amount of people. You can also find that price on the website.
Yes. Jellystone park is within 10 miles.
I totally recommend to buy the sack. The food will go before you know it. The experience was amazing!!
There are a few packages to pick from. I would suggest you go online and look at their website And on top of all that, the best info is to buy the big bucket of feed or a sack.... All of the animals want to eat the food and with a small bucket or scoop it isn't enough to last the whole tour... So relaxing and enjoyable. The staff is very helpful and courteous You will have a wonderful time for sure.
No,think last bus is at 3
adults $19 seniors over 62 $17, children $13 ages 2-11, 1year old & under - free I recommend the wagon tours. Thats what my son (18) & I did & it was very well worth it. We were both pleased. The food is $1 a cup or $30 a bucket. We got the bucket & it seemed like a ton at first but it lasted us the whole tour. They also have guided tours where you can go in a group of 8 I believe but you need to purchase a minimum of 6 persons tickets at once. Its close to $30 (sorry I don't know the exact amount on that) however, I feel the wagon tour was just as good because you can only go so far anyway. The animals come running up when the see the wagon coming along. It was an awesome experience. Very happy with it plus its a tax write off since its nonprofit organization.
I paid $122 for a family of 6 plus a sack of feed 65 minus discounts AAA + military 165
Yea I would not recommend as you are going to be on a wagon and if your pet jumps out or fall it may get hurt by the other animals
The private tour is $35 a person. Min 4. Max 8. Reg admission is around $20.
Dress according to temp. Its wide open so there is a breeze. Be comfortable!
Ive been 15+ times over the last 15 years and its worth every penny! I was there last in October.
Wagon Tour: - $19 adults - $17 seniors (over 62) - $13 kids (2-11) - $0 kids 1 and under
The jeep tour is $35 for a person but you must reserve the jeep for 4 people. So if you go alone you pay $140, 2 people is $140, 3 people is $140 and 4 people is $140. The limit per jeep is 8 people but the price is still $35 per person.
When we went with the group they told us if we wanted a private tour to call or go up there in schedule one after our tour with the group was over and they also said we could call and schedule one.You might be able to go to there site and do it but I am not sure.
All of them except the zebras. We found out that zebras are assholes when we got there....who knew?! LOL
I did not find it pricey and they had stuff at all different prices. If you have a budget I am pretty sure you can ask them and they should be able to point you in that direction.Like someone said ask if they have a group discount or they might give a discount if you go over a certain amount.I always say it never hurts to ask all they can do is say they do not do that.
Private tours are available and great!!! If it's too cold though, not many animals may be out.
