A must-visit. Come experience the beauty and tranquility found only among wildlife and nature in this wondrous natural reserve in the foothills of Northern Colorado.

This path is beautiful and well maintained. The signage seems to keep everyone friendly, relaxed, and comfortable without being overwhelming. The rules are easy. The river is high and gorgeous lately. The water is COLD. And there is a dog park at the end of the trail, which I find is a great way for the mutt and I to play and then walk back on the trail for a great day of exercise.

Great natural area within the city. Good trails, nice fishing ponds, and accessible for little kids (and close to a playground as well)

What an awesome time! This was a gravel pit in the 70s and 80s, now reclaimed natural habitat. Outstanding job of giving back to the local wildlife. We were there for a guided birding tour which was so much fun and nicely done. We will be going back again and again. We viewed many beautiful birds but the highlighted spotting of the day was a Great Blue Heron. Bass Pond supports many species of fish and we even saw a muskrat! Right here in the middle of Loveland! Beautiful!
