Wow! Can’t say how amazing this place was for me. I was dreading going to Reading to change my name, but thought I’d Google and found this location. It was clean, organized, staff were all friendly, and even though I had to go back (no fault of the SS office), I didn’t mind because it was a great atmosphere. I went on a Tuesday morning/afternoon and both times I only waited for max 20 minutes. I would never go back to Reading location.
Big guy
Called here to make an appointment, i live 11 miles from pottstown, 13 from reading, lady asked for my zip code and then proceeded to tell me to call reading. Like why? Whats the point?

A true democratic run government agency. Options “ unavailable “, can’t get a hold of anyone! Liberals lol

I’ve called 4 times now. I’ve been on hold 15-30 minutes each time until the line either cuts off or goes silent. As the letter states I’m unable to go into the office and need an appointment because of Covid, but I can’t get through to anyone to make an appointment. And the person that sent the letter didn’t give me an extension to reach her at. 2 hours later and I still have yet to try and talk to someone about my continuing disability review and I don’t know what to do. Talk about frustration.

Yes
Go to the website, download an application, and fill it out. After that, take it to the offoce so they can process it. The new card should be received in about 10-14 days.
Wow....if you do a walk in you get a ticket so you will be seen either way
Yes! Make sure you have your SSN on the form and sign it.
You can call and ask but the website says appointments are only made for special circumstances. Theres a form online you can fill out and have a new SS card sent to you. It comes pretty fast too. I just did it a few months ago and i want to say it was a week and i received my new card in the mail. Their website is a bit confusing to find it. Just google "replace social security card in Pennsylvania" and itll be one of the top sites (after the ad site) good luck!!!
You have to fill out the form for a replacement. Have someone go to the website to print it out fill it out. They don't take copies so you have to have physical copies mail all in or use drop box. They will send your ID back in the mail
Usually anything sent to social security needs to be original so mail is best
