We had a wonderful time! Beautiful cabins and the trails are awesome. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful state park, well kept grounds and facilities. The camp hosts are all friendly and welcoming. Came for a long weekend, I'd definitely be back again!

If you need a place to restore your sanity, this is it. So peaceful and tranquil. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere. We loved it. We wanted to stay longer. Lots of trees for shade and clean air and we were right by the Lake. We were at Osage Plain Loop. One large dumpster outside the loop and a place for ice and a few other things. You can really listen to nature at night (raccoons-lol). Awesome. Nice camp host.

Cabins are clean, fishing was good.

If you're wanting to camp in a tent then you have to pay the fee for the area you choose. To just swim you have to have a parking permit which you can get at the ranger station or when you renew your tags... That is for the entry/parking only though.
I believe they only have minimum stays on holidays.
