Dr. Karowe is kind, friendly, and inspires great confidence. The practice is very well-organized, and I feel very positive about the care I receive. On the front end it can feel slightly sterile, since the entire scheduling process, including all the prep instructions, are fully automated, but don't be put off by this. There is a number to call for help, and overall the experience is very positive.

One referral and way too much time spent waiting on the phone queue over four attempts, and haven't yet spoken to a human being. Typical not just for this office, but most GI offices. I understand this specialty is seeing an uptick in demand, and there are not enough GI Dr's to treat. Nonetheless, it's pretty discouraging to be suffering and unable to get care.

This is the first review I have ever written but this place deserves it. Wendy is the patient triage nurse advocate and went above and beyond anything I could possibly imagine. Thank you Wendy for all your help. It's been months since I could actually eat food and because of you and the awesome doctors at Gastroenterology of the Rockies tonight I ate so much food I almost feel sick. I never thought I would be so happy to be so full and I owe it to all of you. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Fabulous job guys. I thank you all. Oh yea one more thing. they even had to talk to my insurance to get my meds approved and instead of just sending them an email they called my insurance company, got it approved, then called walgreens and made sure they had my script filled. Talk about customer service. Every single person at this place went way above and beyond to help me. They are truly the best.

My son talked with an advocate triage nurse named Wendy a couple of weeks ago. He explained to her that he had not been able to eat solid food in a couple of months. The office had him scheduled at the end of September for an endoscopy. Wendy got it moved up to August 22nd. The endoscopy revealed a large ulcer as the culprit and Michael was prescribed the generic version of Protonix. He has only been taking it for 4 days and tonight was able to eat solid food with no pain. THANK YOU WENDY!!
