I absolutely recommend these guys if you have water damage in the house. They were very efficient and professional. They kept me appraised with everything and were always in touch.

Questions & Answers

How long does it usually take for mold to grow or spread?

PuroClean of West Bloomfield and Commerce | Oct 10, 2020

Mold can begin to grow within 24 to 48 hours after water damage and it can spread quickly, especially when it is disrupted. Rubbing it or spraying air against it can cause the mold spores to break off into the air, potentially causing illnesses.

What are some of the main causes of fire?

PuroClean of West Bloomfield and Commerce | Oct 10, 2020

Fires are mainly caused from dried leaves, faulty electrical wiring or equipment, unattended stoves and ovens, unattended candles, children playing with fire, flammable liquids, and careless smoking.

How can you inspect for water damage behind walls?

Check the surface of the wall for water stains, peeling paint, or warping. Push on the wall lightly – if it’s soft and spongy, that’s an indication of moisture damage. Then, take the smell test. If the wall smells musty, like rotted leaves, it is a telltale sign of water damage.
