Lots of trails-- paved and otherwise! I especially like the choice of more deer-path style hiking vs wider paths. A bit of a hidden gem.

Awesome well maintained scenic park with an overlook on a clean quite drainage pond with fish and turtles, paved trails teaming with wildlife , large dog park connected some sort of paid membership is needed that gives you a key card to get in I've heard. Some trails are paved and some are mowed grass paths. Trails lead you to another park, or parallel to Okemos rd on a neat raised boardwalk with more awesome views. Watch for the white stone path directly to your left after boardwalk its the path through the woods that gets you back quickest to central park where you probably parked. My kids love this park 6/9 yrs old last trip they rode all the paved trails on their bikes circling back using boardwalk then path through woods. Another plus is its close to the movie theater or farmers market. If I had to pick one negative about it I would say not a lot of available parking but on the other hand it possibly keeps too many people being able to go at once.
