Hello Catherine. There are two issues. The first is without the mall doors being open (they must be closed to control the number of people safely shopping in the store) there is not enough foot traffic to keep the Cafe feasible. The second is Covid safety. If there are people dining in the store without masks, that greatly increases the risk to our staff and customers. Once we get to a point where we can get our entire staff (and most of the public) vaccinated and open the mall doors, the Cafe will be able to reopen.

If you mean "Becoming" by Michelle Obama, the answer is a resounding NO! The reason, I would suspect, is it would be a nightmare for security since she is the wife of a past President of the United States. When I saw Bernie Sanders at the Breslyn Center on MSU campus during the primaries, that building was crawling with security everywhere. Any high government official (for example a president of the US past or present)and their family is under government security even after they leave their office. I checked with Schuler Books by phone and they verified that she would not be at Schuler Books at all. Schuler books do, however, have her book for sale, that you can easily purchase for giving as a gift for Christmas. A wonderful stocking stuffer. They also have many interesting Christmas gift items besides books. You will enjoy a trip there for really nice gifts for those you love.

I know they buyback books on Saturdays because that's when I typically go.
