Im hispanic, grew up going to hispanic hair salons.. with the promise of getting your desired hair color - always a fail! I would always leave crying with orange hair and just a straight across line where the highlights begin. On top of that damaged hair, stretching like thin rubber bands! Today to my surprise, i left the salon happy, with my desired and promised color and completely healthy hair! Its been an hour since ive been home and i just cant believe it. My mother and sister been on a healthy hair journey promising never to color our hair only for it to be damaged, well that changed today.. my sister and mother will be coming to the salon as well! I found my new home for my hair! My hair is in good hands! Everyone in the salon was very polite! When you go, tell them you want beige-y hair ;)

I’ve tried just about every salon in Riverdale, and Delaj is the best. It is clean, well appointed, and upscale with reasonable prices and kind staff. The owner is an expert stylist. He is knowledgeable about different hair types, listens carefully to your preferences, and executes precisely. He is also efficient while being welcoming.
