Hello- thanks for reaching out and asking. We only accept Blue Cross Blue Shield as an in-network insurance. We accept the PPO (has the image of the suitcase on the front) and Traditional. Even then, BCBS sometimes has what is called a “mental health carve out”. This means the particular plan has actually recruited a separate insurance to cover mental health (usually Beacon Health or Value Options). We don’t accept those plans. You can usually tell if there’s a carve-out by looking at the back of the insurance card. It will say something like “For mental health, contact Value Options at 1800.... Some insurances have out-of-network benefits, and you could check with your carrier about that. We are able to provide the necessary documentation if you are looking for reimbursement from your insurance. I hope that helps! Don’t hesitate to reach out with any further questions.
