Our lease ended 6/30/22. We returned the keys that afternoon before the office closed. However when the check for the security deposit came, they incorrectly charged us for rent on July 1st and $182.86 for one day of extra utilities! Note that we left the apartment spotless and were not charged for any damage. Hopefully this was an innocent mistake and they do their part to make things right.

During a time where the housing and rental market is extremely difficult to navigate through, we found the Weatherstone community. Initially, there was no availability and none upcoming. However, the office staff, Rachel and Cookie, did follow up with us once the availability changed. The move in process was very quick and they provided excellent assistance with making my family’s transition to the property go smooth without any issues. Furthermore, Rachel and Cookie has been very responsive to any questions or requests needed. They have also followed up with us plenty to make sure that our expectations are being met. Also, one of the things I do appreciate is that they do make their best efforts to coordinate any service requests with you so that you are aware of when things will be done in the unit. Overall, the property is very nice, spacious and the neighborhood is quiet. So far I have not had any issues and my family really like their new home. Thank you again for the positive move in experience!

Interesting to note that this thread only has 3 reviews. I have never had to work so hard clean up a property. I had to put nearly $1k of my own money to clean the facility to my standard. The grout was filthy on the floors, the kitchen floor was awful and the carpet was so cheap. I put $500 into the grounds. I had to cut my own bushes down and put my own mulch to make my property look presentable. Nevermind waiting days or weeks but years for things to get done. Plaster has been falling off the walls for two years. I have been waiting on repairs to the kitchen cabinets for two years. Not worth the money. I lived here 30 years ago and it was much better. The units are now not worth the price.

So many apartments here have moisture issues inside, but you can even see it on the outside. There’s rust. They are not built well so even before the recent rain they were already really bad. Many have roofing issues. (My neighbors have the same issues I do.) I was sad I couldn’t get a basement when I first moved in until one neighbor told me that there’s no point in getting a basement because water runs into it and damaged the was and there will always be tons milipedes, dolly pollies, and all kinds of other bugs that follow water here all over the area with carpet and tons more in the unfinished part. Pay attention to the warped walls too. My other neighbor told me that they only renovated certain apartments to cover up water damage from before. They even paint over dirt, old paint, and mold here. The office staff is terrible and sloppy and unprofessional and they don’t care about th residents. Cookie seems like she’s getting too old to keep up. The apartments are very swampy and smelled bad. They cut every corner they can find in everything they do—if you can even get them to do anything at all. They will fight you on everything and dismiss it. They hire terrible, dirty people to do contracted work. Most don’t wear uniforms and pull up in what look like their personal cars with no logos on them or anything. And they always want you to be home all day if you need maintenance or work done in your place. I have never felt so unvalued as resident in my life. This isn’t luxury. Save yourself the trip to hell.
