What an amazing place. We came up from Kansas just to see the Great Lakes and chose to stay at this park. Absolutely beautiful quiet park. Clean facilities and perfectly kept up park. Northern pike fishing was awesome. My only complaint is that I can’t reserve the same spot this same week next year, their website won’t go out that far.

This is a great campground! The tenting area was nice and flat with some great hammocking trees. Firewood was dry and started up no problem. A little buggy on the trails, but it’s a beautiful area and the hosts are super nice! My friends & I had a great experience here.

Lovely quiet, peaceful park. Many seasonal residents but plenty of pull thru sites for short stays. Nice lake for kayaking. Great internet service and spotless shower!! The owner was very pleasant for check in and quick to assist when we couldn’t get the sewer cap off - thank you.

Pitched a tent here for a night while I was in town for Grandma's marathon. The tent sites were much more secluded and scenic than what one would typically expect at an RV park. I would definitely recommend if you're looking to camp but need to be close to Duluth.

They had, have canoes. I never rented one but I know they have two man made lakes that you can fish in. I was up there in May but never asked about the lakes.
They have just changed owners and they have made several improvements! The place fills up very quickly so I would definitely make sure to call ahead! Check out their Facebook page! It was previously call Ogstons Campground but it’s now called Red Pine Campground
They have 30, 50, and some with both:) And for now they all have water and sewage at each site.. They’ve just changed owners and so now they’re adding more sites and some tent sites.. so they may not have everything though.. But they are filling FAST so I would make sure to call ahead!! :)
There's only a few sites that may be blocked by trees. Most sites are in the open. Most have their satellite dishes on the ground (carry out dishes).
