An office space, back-office support, and legal support services provider for law firms of all sizes. Our mission is to ease the business pain points for lawyers and professional service organizations so they can spend more time helping their clients, limit their stress, and improve the quality of life for all people. We currently have 7 locations in the Chicago loop, all private floors in some of Chicago’s best and most iconic Class-A buildings; including the Crain Communications building on Michigan Avenue and 77 West Wacker Drive, previously known as the United Building.

We support attorneys and firms of all kinds: satellite offices for large, national firms; solopreneurs; mid-sized boutique firms, etc.. AMATA clients have focuses across 26 practice areas, some are judges, and real-life experience ranges from one-year to fifty-years as an attorney, making every AMATA location an extensive and experienced legal network.

If you have private office space, yes! If you have a virtual program, it depends… Both private office spaces and the “Virtual Office Plus” program include a keycard for 24/7 access to the floors. The “Live Reception w/ Phone & Business Address” program only provides floor access inside normal operating business hours (usually 8-5 PM; Mon-Fri) and reception only and mail only programs do not provide access to the suites (day offices and day-passes, however, are offered should the need arise.)

Online via our portal, or by paper check. AMATA clients can access all past and current invoices, and even set up automatic payments through eCheck or credit card online. Paper check, ACH and other options are also available. Non-members will receive an itemized invoice for any services rendered.

Dedicated, private office space for your firm on an AMATA floor and access to all legal support and back-office support services. You share the common space, café, reception lounge, copy room and bathrooms with the other AMATA clients on the floor and only pay for your individual office(s) each month. Live receptionists will handle your firm’s call screening and new client in-take. Legal admins, law clerks, and paralegals will work on-demand to assist your firm. Our general managers and Client Care Manager will assist in making introductions with other AMATA clients to grow your network. On-site staff will help your firm with chasing receivables, client billing, and social media support. Our trusted third-party partners will assist with all IT support and computer network needs. And more.

AMATA Law Office Suites allows firms to scale office space both up & down, mid-contract term. Adding an office is easy, any organization is happy to take your money and provide more office space. But then the unexpected happens and you need to drop space. Suddenly, they aren’t as receptive. At AMATA we work with you to ensure “the unexpected” won’t put you in a financial bind. Which is why more than 700 Chicago attorneys have chosen to house their firms with Amata Law Office Suites.

At AMATA your firm has access to both remote working technology and physical office space, allowing your attorneys flexibility to work how they need. Most firms need a hybrid office setup: brick-and-mortar presence and remote working technology. Our general managers have helped countless firms set up an office between the two realms; a blend of private office space and virtual technology that fits their work style, keeps the firm cost-effective, and allows their attorneys to work however they choose.

Your firm’s name plus the address of the AMATA location of your choice. Our admin staff will handle mail sorting and place mail in the appropriate offices each day. Forwarding, email notifications, and scanning services are also available.

Everything a firm needs, except dedicated private office space. • Live receptionists who screen their calls and handle new client in-take, and enjoy a mobile business phone app to take calls from anywhere • An AMATA location for their business address, and either pick up mail from their downtown location or have the mail forwarded to their home address • Work on-site at any AMATA location when they want; host depositions in conference rooms, take coffee in the café, host and attend events, and more • Receive on-demand support from AMATA paralegals and the AMATA legal support team. The only difference between a Private Office and a Virtual Office at AMATA is that with a Virtual Office the firm does not have a dedicated and private space on the AMATA floor. Conference rooms and day-offices can be rented for private space as needed, however. Virtual offices can also be upgraded to private office space at any time. No matter office type, your firm will have access to our support staff.

Your firm’s name plus the address of the AMATA location of your choice. Our admin staff will handle mail sorting and forwarding on-site. We have extensive options for handling, including on-site pick up at your selected AMATA location, mail forwarding (standard and express options available), email notification, and mail scanning services. AMATA clients also receive discounted rates from FedEx for outgoing mail and packages.

Your firm’s calls come to our receptionists and they answer with your firm’s greeting then handle calls how you need. With the help of personalized forms and detailed instructions our legal receptionists can call screen, handle your new client in-take, and provide caller messaged transcription. You can either port your number over onto our phone provider, or work with a general manager to forward your firm’s number to one hosted by our phone provider.

You pay a fixed monthly rate per phone line and voicemail box; included in this monthly rate are 50 Live Reception Minutes. Each month the system records the number of seconds our receptionists are on the phone handling your firms calls and counts it against this 50-minute monthly allotment. Only if you go over 50 minutes will your firm incur additional minute costs that month. Other services do not count the seconds but round up to whole minutes, which quickly increases the prices a firm is charged each month. According to our data, clients are only on the phone for half a minute at a time on average! If you are paying for a full minute when you’re only using half a minute, your firm is losing money. AMATA Live Legal Reception only charges your firm for actual time spent handling calls. No rounding up.

We always release our clients’ numbers. AMATA live reception and phone services are built to support law firms, not hurt them. If you decide to move to a different reception or phone service provider, we always allow you to port out your number from our provider.

Our staff goes beyond legal support staff, however. Your AMATA office manager can help you plan events on our floors and grow your referral network. Our on-site team includes staff who can assist with client billing, chasing receivables, and social media posting. Third-party support services with our valued partners include IT support and computer network support, and more.

Our Legal Support Services Director, Tisha Delgado, has been a paralegal for 24 and ensures all legal support billing is highly detailed and itemized. Legal support services will be billed monthly and included on your next month’s invoice, if you are an AMATA client. Non-clients will be provided an invoice for services rendered once a job is complete.
