This hotel is horrible! The lady at the front desk was very nice and professional, but the owner is a piece of work! Found a bunch of spiders in our room so requested a different room and he was not happy. Seems to me that his hotel shouldn’t have the Baymont name to it! The rooms stink, they are not clean, felt kinda creeped out staying here. I have never been so uncomfortable at a hotel! And it is way overpriced for what is available. Will NEVER be back! Time to condemn that building

Where do I even begin? The sign at the the desk saying that they “don’t rent to locals” should have been my clue to walk out. We reserved a room on their website a week before we traveled. We tried to check in at 6:30 pm. We were told there wasn’t a clean room, that the maid was still cleaning. I waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes when I was given a room key. The man checking me in was clearly under the influence, and that should have been my second clue to grab my kids and go. Magically, a room became available, and I paid. As I was walking out the door, another unkept man ran after me and said “the maid just quit. We don’t have a clean room. Can you wait while we make the bed?” We finally get to enter our room, 1.5 hours after we initially attempted to check in. The room was DISGUSTING. The lock was completely broken off. The smell was beyond terrible. The electricity worked in about 25% of the room. The fridge was completely broken. The AC didn’t work. It’s summer. How this place stays in business is beyond me. Do not stay here. RUN.

Our stay at this particular hotel was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. The whole hotel itself was dirty, staff was ok not very friendly. Seemed like we were inconveniencing everyone when we had to ask for something. Saw a verbal altercation with who I am assuming is the manager and another guest. Manager was very unprofessional and ended up canceling the other guests stay because they were telling him about their dirty room. Pool was disgusting. My son left his water bottle by accident when his team checked out. I called the hotel right away to see if the housekeeper could grab it and we didn't hear anything. We went back to the hotel in the early evening and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude to my son. I went in and she said she checked the maid cart and there was nothing there and she couldn't check the room because someone had already checked into the room so she couldn't go look to see if it has rolled under the bed (had she actually checked earlier, I am sure they would have found it). Hallways were maybe a degree above freezing and it was in the negatives for the high outside. Walked into the bar one night to grab a drink and got hit with the smell of pot. So we immediately left. Beds were very uncomfortable, no hot water after 1 shower. We had 2 towels in the bathroom when we checked into the room (and we had a room for 4 people). Whole experience was awful. I will NOT be back at this hotel, and will go up the chain due to our experience. It was NOT worth the price for the conditions. Fargo was completely booked solid, so unfortunately we didn't have a choice to stay elsewhere. I do NOT recommend this place.

Found a needle under the bed all we asked was for them to get the needle and they ended up checking us out of our room and tried to make us pay for another night. The boss showed us a bag full of needles saying that we will find needles at every hotel we stay in. When everything was finally over and we decided we were going to leave the manager came to the door using his own key and just walked in didn’t knock or anything to see if anyone was in there. Do not recommend at all.
