The dude with a flower tattoo on his forearm greated my by saying yeah. You could tell he didn't want to be there. He kept his cell phone next to him the whole time while trying to avoid taking my order by trying to get the attention of coworkers. As soon as another employee walked up he walked away. This dude needs to be fired so he can spend more time with his phone.

Yes, there is outside dining.
It is almost closing time (9:30pm) and sometimes there's a lot more customers who ordered extra french baguette, sprouted grain roll, or dinner roll (brioche roll) than what the morning bakers anticipated. As early as dinner rush (6-7:30pm) customers may buy the last of what Panera have in supply for the rest of the night. If that does happen again you could choose the next side of chips, an apple (sliced if asked), or a side of what they have in stock of sliced bread.
