I am an experienced shooter, although not a professional. I have practiced at another virtual shooting range with scenarios (which was excellent, but closed due to COVID). Valor Defense Academy is exceptional! I found very helpful the warm up techniques. Even better the reaction to someone running at you with a knife and the training on spotting a threat (that eventually shoots at you) in the crowd. The scenarios are very real as well. Three screens let you move and search the landscape. You have many suspects or targets to explore and keep an eye on them. All of it with great teachings, shooting tips, and instructions on what is lawful or not as you go through each scenario. You also get to know what to do in the aftermath of a shooting. Instructor is very personal and attentive on what you are doing and personalizes the training according to your specific capabilities and needs. She makes the experience fun and not stressful, although very engaging. I highly, highly recommend it to all at any level of expertise. Update. Now I have been training regularly for six or eight weeks with Valor Defense Academy. I still think this training is exceptional. Kelsay is so good she managed to make me successfully shoot with both eyes open while the previous instructors could not. And in just minutes!! I am much better prepared to defend myself. Not only gun and legally wise, but mentally. My situational awareness has increased greatly. And situational awareness is what may prevent me to even have to defend myself!! This place is one of a kind, quite literally. When I googled virtual smokeless or non-live fire gun ranges in the area not much popped up. Kelsey is a wonderful instructor and helped me gain a better grasp on the fundamentals of shooting a hand gun. I instantly became more confident in hitting my intended targets and had a great time practicing in a wide variety of shooting scenarios. It's a great way to enhance confidence and shoot hundreds of rounds without draining your wallet.
