Absolutely loved this place. Stopped for two days , ended up staying 2 weeks. Host was amazing and so friendly. Like family for sure.

Owner Nancy was very friendly but camp host was not. I would give it 4 stars otherwise. We liked its location, very close to town and beach (less than 5 minutes). Wildwood is accessible via Sandridge that runs along Long Beach without hitting tourist stops and red lights. There's not a lot of curb appeal when turning into the camp. But it got better when greeted warmly by Nancy. Price at Wildwood is very reasonable. At $25/night up to 2 adults, it's pretty unbeatable. Hot shower is accessible at additional $.75 for 5 minutes. Plenty for guys but ladies felt rushed. The coin machine is outside of actual shower so it may be uncomfortable for someone to come out to deposit additional coins. Restroom is reasonable clean at its age, we stayed right next to it and didn't smell anything. Kudos to camp host for maintaining it right. Firewood is available at camp office for $10 per small barrow. We stayed for 3 nights when each night probably averaged 55ish degrees and used 2 barrows. Do bring an axe or hatchet with you to break them down to smaller pieces to make more lively fire. There are wash basins, garbage cans and recycling station throughout the camp. Paper or cardboard recycling is not there and will be a nice addition. There's not a lot of diversity in this camp ground, I think we are the only Asians there. People are friendly but current political climate does make us felt a bit uncomfortable especially after the encounter with camp host.

Amazing campsite to stay at. My wife and her family stayed here for 3 days and it was such a nice camping trip. My in laws had an RV and the spot was nice and clean, the neighbors were nice, the campground was well maintained and the bathrooms were really close. If you're in Long Beach looking for a place to tent camp or park your RV, let it be this place.

The camp owners are so nice! They're cordial and very easy to interact with, and they really go above and beyond for their guests. The campground is very clean and inviting, and each site has more than enough room for whoever stays there. If it were up to me alone, I'd be back every year from now on.

Not super private and it's a few minutes from the beach but worth it
They take reservations beginning in January (even though they donmt open until April 1). There are nine group sites for large gatherings or family reunions. Minimum of three tents for a group site per night and the cost is $20/tent/night.
No but ocean park does, one in chinook, several in long Beach. Ocean park has showers, laundry, play areas, pool.
Hi! This RV park is no longer owned and operated by the same company. We are currently revamping and restoring the entire space with a whole new camping and recreation area. We’ll be updating the google listing as soon as it’s open. Apologies for any confusion.
Closed.. Sold off.
Wild wood is closed
Hello this location is now closed and is in the process of being converted into a new hospitality and camping space to launch sometime next year. Apologies for any confusion with the past listing.
I was told they sold it.tore apart not going to be open this year no numbers known
I'm not sure what number you are calling. Our number is 360-642-2131. Our office hours are 10-am- 8pm.
Yes there are 3 tent sites with power. Nancy owner of Wildwood campground
These are the activities that are available in the campground: Fishing - Basketball - Volleyball - Horseshoe pits - Tetherball - Sand pit - Board games There are no ATV parks on the peninsula, and ATVs are not allowed on the beaches.
I think they do but not absolutely sure!
Fires are allowed year round, even with a burn ban in effect because they have free standing fire pits on concrete slabs. Firewood is available in the park.
Check in is after 12pm. During the week the office closes at 8, but Fri-Sat nights during peak season you can check in until 9 or 10pm. If you arrive after the office closes and you have a reservation, they’ll leave a map on the office door with your name to tell you which site to go to. You can register and pay first thing the next morning.
Group site costs are determined by the number of tents you have. $20 per tent per night and a minimum of three tents per night. There’s a $50 refundable deposit (cash or check only) that has to be paid before anyone can set up on the site. If the group follows all the rules and doesn’t cause any damage, they’ll get their deposit back when they check out.
