How private is it to set up a tent here and can we camp near shore

Not super private and it's a few minutes from the beach but worth it

There are some tent sites that are more private than others, and if you stay during the week or in April-May before the busy season hits, you will likely have the park to yourself.

There are enough trees for shade but not privacy. There are a few roads in town between this location and the beach. There is a catch and release pond - bring bug spray - not a swimming pond. This is a strolling, boardwalk, drive in some spots, beach, not a swimming ocean beach as pretty much no where in the Pacific Nortwest is.
