Before being referred to Dr. Eftekhari, I suffered an eye condition similar to chronic "dry-eye." This included stinging, itching, and a build-up of some kind of fluid that formed an opaque membrane at the bottom of both my eyes that was visible just above my lower eyelids. This caused my eyes to be bloodshot all the time, especially just above my lower eyelids. I was constantly being asked by others if I was getting enough sleep. This was humiliating and aggravating to me. Dr. Eftekhari correctly diagnosed the problem and performed a surgical procedure to remove the membrane from both of my eyes. As a result of this procedure, my eyes have been restored to full health. My quality of life has significantly been improved. I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Eftekhari to everyone who may be suffering a similar eye condition.

The doctor was great, but the wait was a good 30 minutes.

Questions & Answers

What is the average cost of an eyelid lift?

First, if an upper eyelid lift is covered by insurance then the costs will depend on your deductible. Costs for a cosmetic eyelid lift can vary depending on the type of procedure. Our pricing starts at $3000 for an upper lift and $4500 for a lower eyelid lift.

Sorry but I thought the upper eyelid surgery should cost nothing if you absolutely need it. See, I'm Asian and my right upper eyelid is drooping where it is almost effecting my vision...so where do I go for that???

Eyelid surgery is sometimes covered by insurance if it is medically affecting the vision. Please see our blog post on this topic.
