Great day on the river! Chamberlain canoes were patient and helpful with our large group. They dropped us off, picked us up, layer down some rules and warnings, supplied tunes, rafts and vests.

Best overall time I had on the Delaware River. The staff was extremely informative and personable. Brad and Jane went above and beyond to make this a absolutely perfect experience for me and my friends. I wouldn’t go to any other place. If you’re looking for a livery on the Delaware River that truly knows their stuff and will make it a great time for you and your family then this is the place to go to. Thankyou so much Chamberlain Staff. Your employees both inside the office and the drivers and yard guys made the experience exceptional as always. Everyone there goes above and beyond in making it a fantastic memorable experience for another beautiful time out on the Delaware River. If I could give these guys more then 5 stars I would!

Staff are awesome, super friendly and knowledgeable. Tubing was great, nice drop-off and pickup off the river. Highly Recommend. Will certainly stop by again.

Questions & Answers

How is the tubing now that the river is so low?

It is slow. The river is all floatable, but the current isn't helping in the deeper sections. The average float time for our 4-mile trip is usually 3 - 4 hours. Now we are averaging 4 - 5 hours and some hand paddling may have to be done. The nice thing is that the water temp is 83*.

Can you bring your own kayaks?

Chamberlain Canoes will transport personal equipment if you are coming with a group that is renting equipment. If you are looking for a trip on weekends thru the summer, the National Park Service has a free shuttle from access to access from Smithfield Beach north to Milford Beach. You only have to pay the $10.00 parking fee at the access where you park your car. You can lookup "river runner shuttle" schedule at www.gomcta.com/trip .

Does anyone know the river condition is for the river from Smithfield to Delaware water gap. Suppose to go kayaking tomorrow and just want to make sure it's safe.

Waters high. Wear you life jacket. A canoe is always a good idea when water is up.
