Just called and after saying I couldn’t make the 2pm ride I was hung up on. Not very impressed. I originally gave a 2 star review, but then I read the other comments and figured they deserved a 1 star since everyone else is saying the staff is rude as well. Unfortunately I didn’t get a name over the phone but the women sounded older.

Great Horses, Horrible Staff. If I could give -100000 stars I would. They were all rude old white people who were very racist and did not care about anyone’s safety or at least my family’s.The white family before us did not even pay beforehand and stayed to pay while as soon as we arrived we were immediately told to pay. We were given no prior instructions except hold the lead and hold a handle. The horse yanked the lead away from me and I got told immediately if I let go one more time then I’d be kicked off my horse. Even though she never said this information before. Then she rudely yelled out NO REFUNDS! She also had a very rude tone over the phone. So we go off on our trail with 6 people and only one frail old woman at front. We were leading our own horses and she was talking out instructions as she went. I say talking because nobody could hear her except the two people behind her and one wasn’t even paying attention. We told the lady very loudly that we could not hear her. She looks is dead in the eye and then turns back around. The horses started acting up and people started to worry and we got straight up yelled at since we were “startling the horses.” Anyways towards the end we are about to get off the horses. My black family gets told just get off the horse. Note: we cannot sue if we get hurt. My brother asked to use the step and he got taken to it. I ask and she says no you are a big girl just get off. So my brother says she can’t sue if she gets hurt so let her use the safest option possible please. She says excuse me?? Then she proceeds to say where did these people come from. Thank god that concluded our very hateful and rude experience. For the price we should’ve been treated with respect but even without it we should’ve still been treated like human beings instead of animals. We were planning on going again the next day but after that never again at least here.

I brought my 10 year old ASD daughter to ride and found the staff to be rude, unhelpful and dismissive.

Very rude, makes the whole experience disappointing. We paid $240 to get yelled at and got only 30 mins on the trail because we didn't arrive the 15mins before. My whole point of riding is to get connected with nature(horse, trees, people, etc) but with this lady stressed out and screaming at everyone like she hates her life made the experience unpleasant. She didn't let me read the waiver I signed neither wanted to provide with a copy. Save yourself expending the money in this place to get yelled at. Next time I will be going to Mountain Creek Riding Stables
