The wait was very long and it was very hot in there. However once I was seen the experience was better. I had a nurse who just did my height weight and blood pressure. He was very welcoming and funny. The Dr. Michael Richards was also kind and respectful. I am a muslim woman and he asked if i was comfortable with him checking me and if i wanted a woman in the room. He educated me on some things i had questions about. I was verry pleased with the both of them especially after sitting in anhot waiting room for an hr. Becausee they were so kind and welcoming I am giving 4 stars. They both deserve a 5 but the place needed to turn on the ac lol.

The only place in town to get quick professional care with results in minutes. I have a regular doctor but this place is even better. I was pleasantly surprised and will use again.

So horribly understaffed. Two days in a row came here and they wouldn't allow my niece to enter to get a physical because they were too busy. Even called 20 minutes before and they said they had availability.

MedExpress is currently offering rapid antigen and laboratory send-out PCR COVID-19 testing. In order to ensure the highest-quality care and treatment, all individuals seeking COVID-19-related care at MedExpress will receive an evaluation by a health care professional. This includes those who are experiencing illness symptoms and those are who seeking a COVID-19 test for travel, sports or other community activities.
There are several types of drug tests available in our centers. The drugs that you are tested for are determined by the employer or by law and can vary. If you have any additional questions regarding drug screenings, we recommend calling your local MedExpress center and a member of our team will be happy to assist you!
Thanks for your questions! Timing may vary depending on the volume of tests being performed by our commercial lab partner, but it is currently taking around 2-3 days for patients to receive send-out PCR laboratory result s. Luckily, we have a handy tool on our website that allows you to check out which insurance plans are accepted by state. Please visit our website. medexpress.com/plan-your-visit.html
Thanks for your question! At this time, MedExpress cannot complete requests for lab work like urinalysis from a non-MedExpress provider. However, if a MedExpress provider needs labs to help confirm your diagnosis, we can do labs on site and send blood work and cultures to our partners so you can get answers sooner.
When you visit MedExpress for a COVID-19 evaluation and testing, we will collect your co-pay and bill your insurance for the medical evaluation and treatment received from our medical professionals. If a COVID-19 test is ordered on your behalf, it will be an additional cost determined by your insurance company. Many health insurance companies across the country have stated that they will cover the full cost of any testing for COVID-19. However, if you have questions or concerns about your specific insurance plan, it is always a good idea to check with your insurance company to learn more. For those without insurance, self-pay services for the medical evaluation and treatment received from our MedExpress providers start at $119-$139 based on the state you are located in. This price does not include any fees incurred by our lab partner, LabCorp.
MedExpress is offering COVID-19 evaluations and testing at designated centers to help support our local communities' health care needs amid the pandemic. In order to ensure individuals receive the highest-quality care and treatment, all individuals seeking care at MedExpress for known or suspected COVID-19 cases will receive an examination by a MedExpress health care professional who will determine if testing is needed and which testing method may be most appropriate, including rapid antigen and laboratory send-out PCR COVID-19 testing. Please note that for the most accurate COVID-19 test results, the CDC and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) recommend that individuals who are not showing symptoms, but who have had close contact with an individual who has tested positively for COVID-19, wait five to seven days after the known exposure to get a COVID-19 test. Additionally, the CDC and AAFP recommend self-quarantining for 14 days after a known exposure to COVID-19, even if no symptoms are present.
You can find free testing sites by calling 211 but it's not free at MedExpress
COVID-19 rapid test results will be communicated during the visit. If the results are negative, we may recommend sending out a COVID-19 lab test and asking the patient to quarantine until their results are available.
