As much as I love the front half of this operation (tire shop), the alignment shop in the back has treated me with disrespect too many times. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a woman, my car is older, I replace my own parts, or a combination of all three. Last time I came for an alignment they told me my lower ball joints were bad, and that it wasn't "worth their time" to align it, so I left. Two days ago I replaced those ball joints, and came in today for an alignment. They told me half an hour, I gave them my phone number, and went to wait at the coffee shop across the street. 45 minutes later, no call, so I went back. I get told again that they won't align the car due to bad parts. They had taken one look at it and put it back out in the lot and then didn't call me and wasted my time letting me sit. They told me some bushings and my inner/outer tie rods were bad. I told them they're not, they're less than a year old and don't have many miles on them. Then they told me "you get what you pay for and those cheap parts won't hold an alignment". They are LITERALLY OEM-equivalent replacements (Factory OEM parts are no longer available). The third, younger guy took over from there and aligned the toe, but ignored camber and caster. I will not be returning to a shop that treats me like trash and tells me that my car and the parts I put on it are trash, and won't even do a full alignment. I've been a customer for almost 10 years, ever since I got my first car. The front office always treated me well, but I'm done dealing with the two old jerk-wads that run the alignment operation.
