Go early. Buisness was slammed! Very cute. Lots of stuff for kiddos to explore. Market has lots of things to explore and pick up. Line to pay was about 20 minutes. 2 registers with 1 mobile register. People dropping hundreds of dollars so cashiers do all they can to help you get through. It's a fun family activity but schedule your time accordingly.

We used to love Petersen's. Even back then things were kind of expensive, but not terrible though. We went today to the newly branded farm, the Kinlands. The name is going to take a minute to get used to, but I kind of get the vibe they're going for. We live in Salt Lake County where all the millennials think they live on a farm so they will never be hurting for business. First of all, $1 per pound of pumpkin seems excessive. We spent A LOT on our pumpkins. 4 large pumpkins-$90!!! Second, everything in the farmhouse marketplace is wildly overpriced . . . $24 for one jar of apple pie filling? $11 for a small bag of candy. Wow! But, we haven't been for a few years and my kids wanted to get pumpkins here for nostalgia's sake. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is that I'm not 100% sure they are in accordance with health code laws. They have pastries, caramel apples and cookies sitting out in the public space, at children's table height without wrappers. When we were there multiple children's grubby hands, that had previously been touching all sorts of things (including goats) in the fields, were now touching all the cookies, cronuts and caramel apples. There was even an employee restocking cookies and she said absolutely nothing to these children. We were pretty grossed out. When we went to make our purchase, I mentioned to the employee that if their food was going to be out in the open, they should have everything wrapped. She didn't seem to care and just shrugged her shoulders. So, I'm not sure what type of business they're classified as, but I would be wary of their open aired desserts, no matter how tempting they look. Also, my daughter got a cronut ( we got one in the back, middle of the tallest table) and there were weird leaves stuck to it.

The owner of the land is not very kind to his employees. I could not recommend shopping here after seeing how employees got treated when management thought no one was listening

The hay ride is $6 per person. There is also an apple catapult that costs a $1 per apple.
No. They got rid of it this year. Thank goodness. You can buy tickets for some extra attractions.
Only legit service dogs
Regular orange pumpkins are 39Β’ per lb. Specialty (which is anything not regular orange like different colors or crazy shapes) are 60Β’ per lb. Swan gourds are $5 each and mini pumpkins are 50Β’ each.
The animal area is now a permanent, year round part of the farm, just South of the barn. The pony rides typically only take place during our harvest events in October.
They are already up for sale. Anytime before 7pm
Sorry, I am in Phoenix for Christmas, but they are never open on sunday.
